The Whitby Goth Weekend is an alternative festival which happens every April and every October (12th - 14th April 2019 + 25th - 27th October 2019) bringing the Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market to Whitby featuring over 100 indoor stalls. The Goth weekend was initially created in 1994 by Jo Hampshire, since then it has become one of the world’s premier Goth events with thousands of people attending every year! The fantastic Soul Weekend in Whitby happens every July and is packed full of fun offering the best in Northern Soul, Motown and Modern Soul with the North's best loved DJ's. After first starting in 2002, the festival has become a hugely popular event with 2018 seeing no decline in interest. With daytime sessions and Soul nights spread over three days, there is something for everyone to enjoy! We are already booking up for next year, so make sure you book early to ensure you don’t miss out on this fantastic weekend! 



June 2018 saw the challenging journey of the replica of Captain Cook’s ship - HM Bark Endeavour from Stockton to its new home in heart of Whitby. The fantastic vessel has been recently renovated into an incredible tourist attraction offering the experiences of ship life from back in the days of Captain cook. Also available onboard is the Orlop restaurant, offering great food and a brilliant atmosphere! Why not come and see for yourself, it is not something to be missed!
